Adventures in Advertising

It's been a long time since I felt the urge to blog but recently I've needed more in my life than a facebook status update. Too much fun to be had and shared in life so cheers to some depth in my online persona :)

Recently a friend of mine took a job doing temp work. Her assignment? Too create profiles for a dating website being promoted by an ad agency. Being a brilliant and talented young woman she realized that this is exactly why we all have girlfriends; couldn't resist sharing mine and a few others.

Hallöchen!

Mein name is Rubrik Kleintzfugger. I am a 79 year old hansom young scuttlebutt from Düsseldorf, Germany. Back in youth years I tooked the fork and made piles of the hay and the manure. I was told by elders that I had a forkin like no other. Mein hobbies include stacking milk crates, digging out slivers, and whistling with mein nose. I have two pairs of shoes and a pair of kleenex boxes for special nights. I enjoy crepes and soybeans topped with eggnog made by mein Mama. Sometimes I like to fall in mud so no one knows when I make poopy in my pants.

Mein type of women are the strong women with big shoulders and legs like horse. I like when women don't talk and don't where any shoes. Sometimes a good mustache makes women look very good. I would like to meet some women that has name like Mama's name, Gruben.
I have the best times when women shovel manure with me and then no bath.

About Me

I am short, spunky, happy, and capable of leaping tall buildings in a single bound. With a mane of wild brunette hair, mischievous brown eyes, and curves to match, I would deem myself reasonably physically attractive. I am ethnically French-Canadian, mangle my native language when attempting to speak it, and come from a rural background.
I am a person who enjoys a wide variety of interests and above all prizes the new and challenging. I’m a dedicated foodie and am easily seduced by excellent cooking. I enjoy entertaining have an active social life. I have a passion for playing rugby, at which I do not excel but greatly enjoy. Literatures from the Romantic and Victorian era are my preferred reading and I have a weakness for independent films; most recently, “Shall we kiss?” a treasure of French cinema.
I work in the not-for-profit field doing administrative work for adults with developmental disabilities. A millionaire I will never be, but satisfied? There is no work to which I am more suited or could love more.

10 things to take note of;

1. I’m deeply loyal, affectionate, and dedicated to my family and friends. I am a domestic at heart with an outgoing nature.
2. I’m outspoken, there is no fence to sharp or issue to sensitive to discuss.
3. I’m a traveller. I plan on going to Thailand this winter with friends for a month.
4. I’m a confessed childhood trekkie and read Tolkien obsessively from a ridiculously young age.
5. I’m a person with an unorthodox, tight knit, family. I did not have running water in my home till I was 6, a bathroom until 12, and grew up with a menagerie of family pets, 48 reptiles (at last count), horses, pigs, a herd of goats, sheep, countless budgies, assorted rare birds, insects, cats and dogs (primarily pit bulls).
6. My favourite movie genre is musicals.
7. I believe that organized religion should be stopped before it kills anyone else but have a deep, personal, but essentially private faith.
8. I am prejudiced towards the military and war; I believe both are corrupt in nature. I do support the UN and peace keeping missions.
9. I am fiercely patriotic and my favourite CBC radio program is Anna Maria Tremonti’s, “The Current.”
10. My worst vice is television. I am currently combating it with liberal outings to festivals, theatre, and Canadian music.

My Ideal Partner

My ideal man is deeply rooted to his community, values, and family; is passionate about his interests, wants children, and a fabulous cook. It is essential that my partner enjoy socializing, entertaining, and having fun. Creativity, particularly in bed, would be a bonus. I’m looking for someone with a liberal education, broad life experience, and a thirst for travel; a sense of humour, a certain breadth to the shoulders, and lofty height would complete my man.

My Perfect Date

Dates are quintessentially awkward affairs and I don’t like them. I would prefer to do something one-on-one, that I’ve never tried before, and that my prospective partner enjoys very much. I’ve never been paint balling, white water rafting, snorkelling, rock climbing, or to New York. I’d be game to try any of those! J The cliché dinner and a movie I find more apropos when already an established couple and comfortable in one each other’s company. A perfect date is one where I get to see the real side of another person and enjoy their company.
